Today I used Technorati to find more info on ‘medical insurance’ so I could post it into ‘attorney law’. And this is one of the first results I found:
In an op-ed in Economic Times, Arvind Panagariya tells the story of Indian rural health crisis. He then provides some policy prescriptions, This can be best accomplished by providing the poor cash transfers for out-patient care and insurance for in-patient care. Once this is done, a competitive price must be charged for services provided at public facilities as well. The government should invest in public facilities only in hard to reach regions where private providers may not emerge. Se

From the Vault: Check Your Medical Bills for Errors
This post–about absurd errors in medical bills — is one of my favorites from my vault: My parents retirees on Space Coast of Florida have become especially vigilant about scrutinizing medical bills after spotting errors on a hospital bill a few years ago. While they were grateful for the excellent care, my folks were less than thrilled about questionable charges for phantom treatments. We successfully challenged the charges and they took it off, my mother said. Preventing Medication Errors Takes More Than Technology
I wrote recently about research by the Philadelphia Inquirer into how many hospital patients are actually harmed by serious, avoidable medical errors. Now new research looks at how many patients suffer from a particular type of error a mistake in medication. After taking some time to catch up on tasks that had been postponed due to my schedule last weekend, I have had a chance to think about some of the proceedings at the Annual Session of Grand Lodge here in Connecticut. In the main, things went smoothly. However, I again noticed that motions were entertained that were technically out of order in a Masonic Lodge. At least twice, motions were made to lay matters on the table until the Grand Lodge convened again. Such a motion is always out of orde

What Dreams May Come…
Hi, my name is Hilly and I’ve got a serious problem. “Hi Hilly.” Yeah, lately my dreams have been fucking me up. Why? Because they are so real that I can’t remember what I did or did not say to someone! While I’m trying to be somewhat amusing about the whole crazy issue, it’s a wee bit frustrating. Just the other day I gave Shawn hell for something that I was sure he said we’d do but… he never really said it! He was genuinely a bit baffled when I got exasperated and indignant. The ner
